LumberJerks is Shipping Right Now!

Domestic orders have already left the fulfillment center and some of you will see LumberJerks on your doorstep as soon as TODAY! Every backer in the United States should have their copy by the end of this week. International orders are scheduled to leave the fulfillment center today, arrival times will vary depending on your location. Once we have some general tracking information on those orders, we will post an update to let our international backers what to expect in terms of timing.

Mini-Update and a Minor Delay Part 2

Hey Everyone, 

We have received a few notifications from Kickstarter that backers wanted an update. Thank you all for your continued patience, we know that waiting is the least fun part of being a backer on any project. With that in mind let's jump straight into the facts!

Our previous timeline estimated that LumberJerks would arrive at the U.S. port by July 15th. Well that's today and we were clearly wrong. Quality control at LongPack took a bit longer than expected but that was something we definitely didn't want to rush. Fortunately, we played it safe and gave you a very conservative estimate to reduce the disappointment of potential delays. Unless there are any problems with efficiently clearing customs (something that is very unlikely but impossible to guarantee), every backer can still expect to receive their copy of LumberJerks in August.

LumberJerks Manufacturing Update

Hey Everyone!

Sorry for the extended radio silence and thank you for your continued patience. With that in mind, we will just dive straight into the update!

Manufacturing of LumberJerks at LongPack is back up and running in a safe manner. Currently, we are anticipating that LumberJerks will be arriving on U.S. shores around the middle of June. This certainly tightens our overall schedule, but it should still allow us just enough time to meet our original estimated shipping date of July 2020.

However, Flat River Group's fulfillment warehouse was officially shutdown by the state of Michigan as part of ongoing efforts to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. We are keeping in touch with Flat River and they will notify us when the shutdown ends. Obviously, there is a chance that the United States will still be experiencing mandatory shutdowns in June which would require patience and understanding from all of us. For now, we don't want to spam you with more emails than necessary during this strange and stressful time.

Our ultimate priority continues to be the safety and health of our domestic team, our partners in China and Australia, and our backers. We look forward to our next update when we will be able to announce that LumberJerks is officially on a boat heading to the United States!

Production Delays in China

It's been a little while! Despite our radio silence, we have been working hard to get LumberJerks delivered to your mailbox sooner than projected. Unfortunately, our manufacturer is delayed due to the ongoing Coronavirus situation in China.

Traditionally, factory operations are suspended around the beginning of February to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The Chinese government has mandated an extension of this national holiday for the safety of workers. LongPack will be held from full capacity for roughly 2-3 weeks from now. LongPack Managers have been working from home and are adjusting to their situation on a day-to-day basis. We are staying in contact with them, as well as our our state-side representative, but are currently unsure when operations will return. As unfortunate as this is for us, we fully support protecting the safety and well-being of the LongPack staff.

At this moment, we estimate that your order will still arrive on time. We wanted to provide you early notice of the current manufacturing situation in case your delivery is delayed. Once manufacturing is back online, we will update you again with any adjustments necessary to our estimated fulfillment.
